Back to School Sensory Support Checklist

August means the end of another summer and the beginning of a new school year. It offers us a time to reset and readjust before another cycle of learning and growing - for students, teachers, and parents alike. As an Occupational Therapist, I rely on a number of tools to support myself, my teachers, and my students to access and enjoy their learning/working environments. So this year I have put together a list of some of my favorite sensory-based tools that support regulation and engagement. Within the checklist I share products, links, and a brief description on why I recommend it. You can find the link below next to the picture of my sweet puppy girl. Do I really need an excuse to share that sweet face!? Leave a comment or reach out to me if you have any questions on these tools or how to use them.
